I'm Ines, 20, from germany
I draw sometimes and I might like Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Dancy a little bit too much
THINGS THAT MIGHT HURT: Derek’s loft furniture, especially the book and the lamp next to his bed. And the colored sheets. And the pillows. And the mirror he uses to check himself in the morning (I’m positive he does this). The chairs he has all around because of his pack. Final question, though: what can we find upstairs if the bed is right there?
Guys.
DEUCALION IS BLIND.
but wouldn’t the werewolf healing powers fix that?? scott doesn’t have asthma anymore.
I have no idea, but judging by the first cap, where he’s holding a white cane, and the second one, where his eyes are clearly not quite right, I think it’s a safe assumption. It also explains why he’s wearing sunglasses in most of the scenes.
If you watch the quick part of the fight he has with Scott, he also doesn’t ever look at him, just keeps his eyes forward and steps out of the way.
And, I mean, it has been established werewolves aren’t completely immune to illness or injury - see, for example, Peter being comatose and burned for six years.
Also, Deucalion could have been born blind and Bitten later. Werewolf healing is not a catch-all, and depending on the circumstances of his blindness there could be nothing to heal.
My theory with Bitten werewolf healing is that circumstances like Scott’s asthma and Erica’s epilepsy are still a part of them. As fast as Scott’s tubes close up they heal and open again, so he doesn’t notice it. Jackson’s venom nullifies the healing, which is how Erica had a seizure.
I think it would be amazingly bad-ass if he was a Born wolf and born blind, and it wasn’t viewed as a weakness.
